Past Workshop
- Malaysia (2026)
In this intensive workshop offered in Kuala Lumpur and Penang, Malaysia, a variety of Persian dance forms, from classical to folk was offered, and students gained insight into Persian music and dance aesthetics, and cultural traditions. The workshop offered a rare opportunity to learn directly from an Iranian artist, experience dance as a form of cultural expression, and engage in conversations about Iran beyond stereotypes. Designed for dancers of all levels, the sessions combined movement, storytelling, and cultural context, allowing participants to connect with the spirit of Persian dance and its broader cultural significance.
